The annual Blitz tournament was held on Tuesday night 9th September. As the number of players has increased significantly, a new format for the tournament this year, run as an ECF rated Swiss Blitz event with a time limit of 5 minutes and 2 second increments.
The top seeds tied first with 71/2 / 8, with the overall tie-break favoring Tony by the narrowest of margins. The cross table of results is shown below.
